Hi! My name is Jess, I am 25 years old. Originally from Coffeyville, but now residing in the greater Kansas City area and I am in love with my current home. My fitness journey started in college, but really became a true passion upon graduating college in 2016.
For me it all started at a very young age. I have been a dancer and tumbler since the age of 3 so being active has always been a huge part of my life. I swam competitively growing up and also earned my black belt in Karate when I was 11. I felt a little lost in college when I didn't choose to cheer or dance for the college I attended, Pittsburg State. I moved to college being very thin and struggling with an eating disorder. Then I found the gym, the one thing I honestly can say saved my life,
I started properly fueling my body and fell in love with the art of weight lifting and essentially body building. I knew I wanted to help others reach their goals in the same way I did so I got my personal trainer certification as well as nutrition through NASM.
Fitness is much more than just going to the gym. It's an entire lifestyle that changes you not only physically but mentally as well. Coaching is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done and I am 110% sure God placed me on this Earth to help as many people as I can truly gain their confidence in myself and get their health back.
I offer two types of programs for 1 on 1 coaching: training + nutrition. What you decide to go with is solely up to you and your goals. If you are only interested in training - that is awesome! Also if you are only interested in nutrition - I do that as well without the training aspect. Click the link that says Client Inquiry at the bottom of this text to get started! From there you will receive an email from me upon completing the questionnaire, then a phone call will be scheduled to talk goals and what you are trying to achieve.
Proper nutrition is an absolute key when it comes to reaching your fitness goals and maintaining your overall wellness and health. With a one-time macro consult, we will go over proper nutrition planning to provide a strong foundation to achieve your personal goals – whether that may be losing some body fat, maintaining, or gaining lean muscle. You have got to nourish to flourish, babe.

A brief overview of who I am and what I do. I am a NASM certified personal trainer + fitness nutrition specialist. My passion is empowerment. My work is done solely through grace. I believe that we as humans need to be the change we wish to see in the world. My approach to fitness + lifestyle coaching is a little unorthodox compared to some. I am not just a coach, but an accountability partner that wants to see you succeed beyond what you think you are capable of achieving. I believe in flexible dieting and I take a IIFYM (if it fits your macros) approach. But I also believe this is not for everyone. There are many ways to achieve your fitness goal without counting every piece of food you intake, although it does help, it is not always necessary. One thing I do not believe in is meal plans. I will not give them out - and I advise anyone looking to obtain one turn to a registered dietitian. I will always preach balance. No goal can be reached/sustained without maintaining a good balance between life + fitness. Balance is everything and I am here to make sure that is something you will always keep present in your life on your fitness journey.
